Robotics and Nanotechnology in Orthodontics

This dissertation, titled “Robotics and Nanotechnology in Orthodontics,” is undertaken with the objective of exploring the evolving intersection between advanced technological innovations and contemporary orthodontic practice. Orthodontics, as a dynamic specialty within dentistry, has continually progressed through the integration of new materials, techniques, and scientific insights aimed at improving treatment efficiency, precision, and patient outcomes. However, conventional approaches still present limitations related to treatment duration, biomechanical control, patient compliance, and the risk of adverse effects such as enamel demineralization and periodontal complications. In this context, the emergence of robotics and nanotechnology represents a significant paradigm shift, offering novel solutions that extend beyond the capabilities of traditional methodologies.
